5 Fall Events We Can't Wait to Attend

While September only just started, we've already been experiencing some autumnal weather. We're hoping for a few more hot and sunny days before the fall officially kicks off, but it's never too late to start planning your weekends walking through the crunchy leaves.
Below are some of the best events we have to look forward to (in chronological order!)
FreshGrass Music Festival at Mass MoCA
1040 Mass MoCA Way, North Adams
Friday, September 20 - Sunday, September 22
The FreshGrass Foundation is a non-profit organization whose festival features roots music performers on four different stages.There are a number of other experiences hosted at the festival, including instrument workshops and local food and alcohol vendors. FreshGrass is committed to becoming more eco-friendly and sustainable each year, and as of last year’s festival eliminated single-use plastics. Single and three–day passes are available!
Massachusetts Cheese Festival at High Lawn Farm
535 Summer Street, Lee
Saturday, September 21 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
High Lawn Farm is hosting the Massachusetts Cheese Festival for the second year in a row! Come taste cheeses, foods and beverages, taste wines and learn from local cheesemaking experts. Tickets cost $30. Pro tip: Become a member of the cheese guild for $25 and get free admission.
Lenox Apple Squeeze
Downtown Lenox
Saturday, September 28 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
It’s year 43 of the Apple Squeeze! Enjoy a free afternoon in downtown Lenox while perusing arts and crafts, enjoying live music, eating delicious food and more.
Naumkeag Pumpkin Show
Shuttle pickup from Main Street, Stockbridge
Wednesday - Sunday from 5 - 7:45 p.m. from Friday, September 27 – Sunday, October 27
This eco-friendly pumpkin festival is a must-see in the fall. A stroll through Naumkeag on a Jack-o-Lantern-lit evening is the perfect way to welcome the fall weather and spooky season! Grab your beanie and a hot cider and enjoy a stroll through the beautiful grounds. Tickets are not sold on-site, so make sure to reserve yours as soon as they go on sale!
Harvest Festival at Berkshire Botanical Garden
5 West Stockbridge Road, Stockbridge
Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Rumor has it this annual festival is almost 100 years old! Walk through 24 acres of Gardens and enjoy live music, hay rides, plant sales, a beer garden, food trucks and more. Tickets cost $15 for adults at the gate, but are only $10 if purchased in advance.
